Land gives us room to wonder and wander. To get a little lost. To remember that we belong to something bigger. We believe that possibility is worth keeping alive.

FRILAND exists to ensure keeping land wild is a practical, durable, and economically viable choice, and that people can explore those places without diminishing what makes them wild.
Care that continues.
Develop paid land care work and funded conservation projects with qualified partners. A good intention needs a workable way to pay for the work.
Exploration with respect.
Connect people with selected places, at a pace each place can sustain. More opportunity to explore should never mean less wildness.
An invitation. Not an entitlement.

Others need us to step back.
Protecting a place and opening it to exploration are separate decisions. The land sets the limits.
